Irish composite bonding price survey 2026

Between 1 and 6 September 2026 we read the published price list of every Irish dental clinic we could find that puts a figure on composite bonding. 75 clinics in 20 counties do. This page sets out what we found, how we collected it, and the full dataset as a free download.

Key findings

  1. The median published price for one bonded tooth in Ireland is €250. 17 of the 75 clinics publish exactly €250, the most common single figure.
  2. Prices run from €125 to €800 per tooth, a 6.4-fold spread for a treatment most people assume has a going rate.
  3. Six upper front teeth, the usual smile makeover, works out at about €1,500 at the median and anywhere from €750 to €4,800 across the market.
  4. 6 of 26 counties have no clinic publishing a price at all: Laois, Leitrim, Mayo, Monaghan, Offaly and Roscommon.
  5. The same dental group charges €130 in Swords and €700 in Mayfield. Dental Care Ireland sets prices practice by practice, not as a group rate.
  6. Only 2 of the 75 clinics publish a written warranty on the work (Truly Dental at six years, Boyne Dental at five). Almost every clinic publishes how long bonding “lasts”; almost none commit to anything if it does not.
  7. 65 clinics publish a consultation fee, from free to €150; 9 list it as free. 22 publish a way to spread the cost, 14 of them through Humm.
  8. Lowest county median: Cavan at €150. Dearest: Clare at €600, though Clare rests on 1 clinic, so treat it with care.

How we collected the data

We searched county by county for every dental clinic in the Republic of Ireland publishing a composite bonding, composite veneer or equivalent price on its own website, and recorded 75 clinics across 20 counties.

Limitations. This is a survey of published prices, not of quotes given in the chair. Clinics that do not publish prices are not represented, and prices change without notice. We are not affiliated with any clinic listed.
